Aminah Designs began as a dream shaped by family, hard work, and belief.

For more than 50 years, clothing has been a part of our family life. Watching my grandfather Esmail and my father Rafiq work every day, selling clothes and earning people’s trust, is how I grew up. From a young age, I learned that this business is not just about fabric — it is about honesty, respect, and relationships.

As a child, I would go with my father to meet suppliers, watch him choose fabrics, and listen to him talk about quality and value. Those moments stayed with me. I admired his dedication and quietly hoped that one day I could build something of my own, while carrying forward the legacy he and my grandfather created.

Aminah Designs was born from that learning and from life’s challenges.

Before starting my own brand, I worked as a salesman, understanding customers from the ground level. When my wife Hamida encouraged me to take a risk and start my own journey, I began selling clothes on the roadside. For two years, it was only hard work, patience, and faith. Slowly, that effort turned into trust, and trust opened the door to our first showroom.

Today, Aminah Designs stands as a name people recognize and believe in. Every piece we offer reflects years of experience, careful fabric selection, and a promise to never compromise on quality. Whether it is for daily wear or special moments, our clothing is made to feel comfortable, look elegant, and be worn with confidence — just the way my father and grandfather taught me.
